As a sophomore, he was selected as a second team All-Conference performer…led the Bulldogs with 17 doubles and 10 homeruns…91±¬ÁÏ꿉۪s most productive hitter who gives pop in the middle of the lineup…can catch or play first base…saw time at first last season and at the designated hitter spot…prepped at University School of Jackson where he was a three-sport athlete in baseball, football and golf...helped guide the Bruins to a 1999 State Championship title...earned honors such as All-Region, All-District and All-State...batted .460 his senior season with 16 homeruns and 70 RBI...his junior season he batted .444 with nine homeruns and 72 RBI.
