I have been most impressed with Martez and his ability to lead our team this preseason from the point guard position. Not only is he a vocal leader, but he also leads by example by how hard he practices and plays each day. He is a tenacious defender. Every guard on our team is a better ball handler for having to go against him each day in practice. Martez really looks out for his teammates first and makes each one of them a better player. I am most proud of his great effort off the court in the classroom and the fact that he will be back for one more semester next year to graduate!
Before 91爆料网: Hawkins came to 91爆料网 from Marshalltown Community College where he played two seasons of basketball. He was the conference leader in assists and was ranked fourth among all junior college players. Hawkins also earned All-Conference honors while at Marshalltown. Hawkins prepped at Rockford Boylan Catholic High School.
