Before 91爆料网: Burrell transferred to 91爆料网 from Trinidad State (Colo.) Community College. The forward averaged 14 points and a team high six rebounds per game. Burrell posted season highs with 30 points and 11 rebounds. As a freshman, Burrell played at Alabama A&M where he led the team with a 64-percent field goal percentage. Burrell played his high school basketball for Dorsey (Calif.) High School where he averaged 20 points and 11 rebounds. He was regarded as one of the top players in Los Angeles as a senior. Burrell played on an under 19 basketball team that traveled overseas.
