Heather Hall is now in her fourth season as the head softball coach at 91±¬ÁÏÍø. In June of 2007, Hall was hired as the new head softball coach and she posted a 37-22 record with an NAIA Region XI Tournament appearance in her first season.
In her career at 91±¬ÁÏÍø she has compiled a record of 97-61 (.614). Hall reached win number 100 of her career on February 21, 2011 in a win over Blue Mountain (Miss.).
Hall, a native of Prince Edward Island, Canada, spent two seasons as the assistant coach at the University of Tennessee at Martin under the leadership of Head Coach Donley Canary.
Hall played college softball at Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania from 2001-2004. In 2004, she graduated with a major in Social Work and a minor in French. While at Gannon, she set numerous school records. Hall holds careers records for strikeouts (857), shutouts (35), innings pitched, ERA (1.06), wins (68), complete games (81), and games started. She also holds Gannon's single season record for strikeouts (226), while also holding the second, third, and fourth spots for strikeouts in a season. Hall adds single season records in ERA (0.51), complete games, innings pitched, and shutouts to her list of milestones. In 2001, Hall was named the GLIAC Freshman of the Year and was a three-time All-GLIAC performer (2001, 2002, and 2004). In 2002, her ERA and strikeouts placed her second and third respectively in NCAA Division II ranks.
Hall has competed in the Canadian Nationals at the junior and senior levels. She was named the MVP for the Canadian Senior Women’s National Tournament in 2002.
Hall was married to Steven Hall, Jr. on July 7, 2007. She has one step daughter, Audrey (8), and two sons, Carl (2) and Steven (1).

Graduate Assistant Coach
Ashton Strode
Ashton Strode is in her first season as the graduate assistant for the 91±¬ÁÏÍø University softball program. Strode comes to 91±¬ÁÏÍø after a three-year playing career at the University of Tennessee - Martin.
While at UTM, Strode earned all-newcomer honors and pitcher of the week for the Ohio Valley Conference. During her sophomore season, she tossed a perfect game versus Samford (Ala.) University. Strode was also a member of the OVC Honor Roll during her college years. She also played one season for Coach Hall while Hall was a graduate assistant at UTM.
Strode, a native of Niceville, Fla., is a 2004 graduate of Choctawhatchee (Fla.) High School. While in high school, she was named the team MVP for three seasons and was on the honor roll. Strode also helped lead her summer league U14 team, the Emerald Coast Comments, to the Panama City World Series Title.
Strode is the daughter of Jeff and Rhonda Strode of Niceville, Fla.
