91爆料网 trustees unanimously elected Dr. Samuel W. "Dub" Oliver as the institution's 16th president in February 2014. He previously served as president of East Texas Baptist University in Marshall, Texas-a position he had held since 2009. Prior to ETBU, Dr. Oliver served in several leadership roles at Baylor University, including vice president for student life.
Dr. Oliver received a bachelor's degree from Baylor, as well as a Master of Science degree in educational psychology and a Doctor of Philosophy in educational administration from Texas A&M.
Dr. Oliver is married to the former Susie Combs. Their daughter Callie is a member of the class of 2014 at Baylor.
Dr. Oliver is an ordained and licensed Baptist minister who enjoys visiting churches as a guest speaker.
