Before 91±¬ÁÏÍø: Davis prepped at University School of Jackson where he helped lead USJ to their eighth state tournament appearance in 2008. He posted an 8-1 record with a 1.18 ERA as a junior and was named All-West Tennessee. In 2008, Davis was the player of the game in the region title game for USJ as he allowed just two hits and one run in six innings while striking out seven batters. While at USJ, he helped lead his team to district championships in 2007, 2008 and 2009. USJ also won two region titles in 2007 and 2008. Davis was named All-West Tennessee Pitcher. Before USJ, he attended Riverside High School where he played football and baseball.
