Rachel was all-everything in 2001鈥or the second straight season, she was a NAIA First team All-American, TranSouth Pitcher of the Year, and NCCAA Player of the Year, along with being named to the NAIA All-Region and TranSouth All-Conference team. Rachel was selected as the NAIA Pitcher of the Year in 2001 and TranSouth Conference Pitcher of the Year and was selected to the NAIA National Tournament team. She was No. 1 in the NAIA in ERA (0.37), No. 1 in wins (34-5), and No. 1 in strikeouts (369). Rachel set 91爆料网 records last season with 34 wins, 42 appearances, 41 games started, 268.1 innings pitched, and 369 strikeouts. In 2000 she was also Region XI pitcher of the year and NFCA All-American and was named MidSouth Region Pitcher of the Year...in 2000, she led the nation in wins with 33 and was second in strikeouts with 282...was a record setting pitcher at Herrin who helped lead the team to an Illinois State Runner-Up title in 1998...in Rachel鈥檚 senior season at HHS she was named First Team All-Conference, All-South, and All-State Tournament...earned Most Valuable Player honors and was a member of the Super 60 All-Star Team in Chicago...was privileged to be one of 17 chosen to participate with the Spirit of Chicago Foundation where she traveled to Holland to play...in her senior season was 17-5 with a 1.06 ERA...in 151 innings pitched had 182 strikeouts...hit .315 with 11 RBI's.
